1. THE WORK
Three pomegranates rest on a draped fabric, somewhere between glass and lace, subdued light and crumpled silk. One is half-open, bursting with ruby-red seeds. The others, closed, shine in their silence. A half-open antique book, embroidered curtains, a complex play of shadows: everything here speaks of secrets, intimacy, things left unsaid. This is not a still life: it is discreet theater. The pomegranate here becomes a symbol of contained wealth, of restrained desire.
2. THE INTENTION
With Closed Pomegranate , the artist places us before the fruit as if before an enigma. It is not gluttony that is painted, but expectation. This painting is a tribute to guarded beauty, to that which is not offered immediately. The pomegranate becomes a metaphor for modesty, buried knowledge, deferred pleasure. A dense, controlled, almost mystical work, which refuses ease in order to offer depth.
3. THE INVITATION
What if your most precious possession isn't what you show, but what you leave hidden?
What parts of yourself do you still keep sealed away… and why?
4. YOUR PAINTING AT HOME
Ideal for a refined and sophisticated interior, the closed Grenade is ideal for an elegant library, an intimate reception room, or a classically designed living room. It's perfect for lovers of materials, details, and works that speak quietly.
A rare painting, for those who understand that silence can contain more beauty than the scream.
